November Minutes Greetings Blue Knights, The November meeting was held at Bar Louie in St. John on the 17th. While attendance was small we carried on. Lou was not present due to furnace problems, our balance remained at $7,291.91. Yvonne was not present because she choose to have surgery to repair a broken ankle and foot. A few weeks back, she took a bad fall down some stairs while carrying fire wood. Get better soon and we're thinking about you. The December meeting will also be our Christmas Party. It will be on December 15th @ the Gary Sportsmen Club. Again we will have guest from the Boys and Girls club. Presents will be provided for each child. A motion was made and passed that gifts do not exceed $15.00. Members are encouraged to email me or call 670-3547 to RSVP and how many children will be attending. Please let me know the Childs gender and age, so we may provide an appropriate gift. Please do so as soon as possible. Vic has agreed to do the shopping and wants to do so soon. Nominations were closed for 2010 offices. Lou, Vick, Yvonne, B.J and myself will be the 2010 executive board. As we are at the end of the year, there was no new business. Good of the order: 2010 Dues need to be paid by January 15 to avoid a late penalty. $30.00 before the 15th, $35.00 after. Membership. We are presently at risk of loosing honorary members if we don't increase our regular member numbers. Please everyone, make it a goal to recruit one member in the next year. We also discussed doing things for the Club next year. Rick H was right doing the charity things are nice but we need to do nice stuff for our members. So start thinking of things you'd like to see in 2010. B.J. will be doing a ride and event calendar for next year... That's all for now.
